# Educational landing pages

> Replace our default educational page with your own.

When a user clicks a link or opens an attachment in a simulation, we redirect them to our
educational landing page. It gives a short tip relevant to recognising that particular kind of
phishing attempt, and it is where the learning in a simulation actually happens.

Under **Customisation** you can replace that page with your own, so the moment someone falls
for a simulation they land on something in your own tone and branding.

## Two ways to do it

| Type | What it does |
| - | - |
| **HTML** | You code the page and we host it on our servers |
| **URL** | We forward users to a page you host yourself |

<Steps>
  <Step title="Create a page">
    Go to **Customisation** and click **New**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Choose a type">
    Select **HTML** or **URL**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Choose the language">
    See [Languages and fallback](#languages-and-fallback) below.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Add more languages">
    Once saved, select the page and add further languages. Each can use a different HTML page
    or URL.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## Languages and fallback

Each page can exist in several languages, matched against a user's language tag.

<Warning>
  The first language you create is the fallback. Anyone whose language tag does not match a
  version you have made lands on that first one, so make it the language most of your
  organisation reads.
</Warning>

<Tip>
  Creating and enabling several pages for the same language results in randomisation, so
  repeat clickers do not see an identical page every time.
</Tip>

## Before you replace ours

Our default page is available in more than twenty languages and is updated roughly every
quarter. A custom page is yours to maintain, in every language you add.

<Note>
  Some simulations have their own landing page first, for example a fake login page. In that
  case users only reach the educational page after interacting with the fake page. See
  [Micro-learnings](/micro-learnings).
