# SCIM

> Let your identity provider push users to OutKept using SCIM 2.0.

SCIM (System for Cross-domain Identity Management) 2.0 lets your identity provider
automatically synchronise user accounts directly into the OutKept platform.

When employees join, leave, or their data changes, they are created, updated or deactivated
automatically, with no manual CSV uploads or re-imports.

## What we sync

Apart from the email address, we also sync the following directory attributes. The same set
applies whether you use the daily Entra ID sync or SCIM provisioning.

| Directory attribute | OutKept field |
| - | - |
| `givenName` | Firstname |
| `surname` | Lastname |
| `jobTitle` | Function Title |
| `department` | Department Name |
| `companyName` | Organisation Name |
| `city` | City |
| `country` | Country |
| `preferredLanguage` | Language |
| `PhoneNumber` | PhoneNumber |

<Note>
  Country and Language are mandatory. A user reaching us without them cannot receive
  simulations, so populate both in your directory before syncing.
</Note>
