# IP addresses and domains

> The values to enter wherever a whitelisting guide asks for ours.

Every whitelisting guide in this section refers back to this page. Whether a product asks
for sending IPs, sender domains, simulation URLs or allowed sites, the values come from
here.

## Sending IP addresses

## Domains

Two separate lists, and both need whitelisting. The platform domains keep the platform,
the learning environment and reporting working. The phishing domains are what simulations
are sent from.

### Platform domains

These five carry the platform itself, the learning environment and the reporting loop.
Without them, simulations and the training that follows them will not work.

  Cannot add them all? Configure the ones most relevant to you, then deactivate the rest
  under **Platform settings** then **Active phishing domains**. A domain that is whitelisted
  but inactive is harmless; a domain that is active but not whitelisted will be filtered.

  Some products want the domains in a different shape: a URL pattern, or a sender address.
  Where that applies, the guide for that product shows the form to use.
