# Start campaign & reporting

> Announce the phishing simulations and how to report them.

Send this before the first simulation goes out. It explains that simulations are coming, asks
people not to interact with them, and tells them how to report anything suspicious.

**Subject:** Important notice - Phishing prevention Training & Awareness

```text theme={null}
Dear colleagues,
With the growing threat of phishing attacks, we want to better prepare and protect
ourselves against this form of cybercrime. Phishing mails try to extract data from you in
many ways through deception. Awareness of a threat and learning the right reflexes are
essential here.
Focusing on both these aspects, we will simulate phishing as a training method in
collaboration with a partner, OutKept. These simulated phishing messages will be sent
sporadically to your work e-mail address. They will appear legitimate, but those who look
closely will see that they are actually part of the simulation training.
It is important that you try not to respond to these emails and avoid, for example,
clicking on the links or attachments they sometimes contain. You can, however, report
phishing emails. You can do this by forwarding them to phishing@outkept.report. You will
then receive feedback by email on the reported email. You may report phishing emails even
if they did not come from OutKept.
We believe this type of training can better protect information from both you and the
company. After all, real phishing does not only happen at work, you will undoubtedly face
it in your private life as well. The simulation emails will only be sent to your work
email, and we hope this exercise will help you recognise phishing faster, at home and at
work.
If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact our IT department for more
information.
Thank you for your cooperation and stay safe online!
Kind regards,
```
