# Testing your whitelisting

> Confirm from the platform that our mail arrives and interactions are recorded.

Once whitelisting is in place, test it from the platform rather than assuming it worked. Mail
arriving is only half of it. The test also confirms that the interactions are recorded.

    Go to the **Emails** tab, pick a campaign and click **Send test email**, addressed to
    yourself.

  <Step title="Interact with it">
    Open the mail, click the link, open the attachment.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Check the interactions">
    Every checkmark for the test mail should turn green on the platform.
  </Step>

<Note>
  Testing with one domain is enough. You do not need to test each whitelisted domain
  separately.
</Note>

## Give changes time to propagate

Some products do not apply changes immediately. Testing too early looks like a failure that
is really just a delay.
